I found this idea–in none other than a McDonald’s magazine. It was such a great idea, I took a picture of it and thought I’d blog it out. I think some kid sent it in. So creative!

Making homemade applesauce for baby

Need to use up those fall apples? Can’t finish the bag?
Here’s an idea if you want to substitute sugar in your recipes–homemade apple sauce! If you choose sweeter apples, you’ll have a sweeter sauce.
Or eat it with kielbasa and cabbage.
Or feed it to your baby.
It’s homemade, easy to do, and 100% natural. (Feel free to add sugar, but I don’t add anything to mine and it comes out yummy and sweet.)

What I do all day long with one tiny baby

Not a very green post, this one. Just thought I’d share a little. I don’t do that enough.

I am floored how busy I am with one kid. Just one. And granted, I realize my life isn’t any different from any other mother, but I just thought I’d give a peek into mine. And hey, it’s all new to me.

I am trying to make decisions that will affect my child in a positive manner. I was environmentally conscious before she was born, I’m even more so now.

Unable to follow directions

Do you remember those tests they gave you in elementary school where the teacher told you to read the directions as she passed them out? The first two lines read, “Read all of the directions before beginning the test. Write your name at the top of your paper and put down your pencil.”

There were students who did just that and then sat, swinging their feet and twisting around to spy on all the students who raced to finish and answer number 15.

I made it all the way to # 15.
